Chai Ola is made with whole spices, fragrant botanicals and freshly pressed citrus, blended with organic black tea. Nothing artificial, nothing rushed. We gently brew and blend these ingredients to create a concentrate that’s bright, aromatic and naturally full of flavour.
Just a splash is all it takes. Add sparkling water and the concentrate opens up into a refreshing, uplifting soda, fragrant on the nose, beautifully balanced on the palate, and quietly celebratory in character.

Every bottle is still made with care, curiosity, and a hands-on approach — crafted to bring warmth, flavour, and a little joy to everyday rituals.

Our concentrates & syrups are made here in Auckland. We work with Aromatics in Takanini, using recipes developed originally in Hakanoa Street in Grey Lynn.
All Hakanoa products are pasteurised and safe to be stored at room temperature unopened. Syrups can be stored for 3 years and gingers beers for 2 years before their flavours start to fade. Best in a dark cool cupboard if you have one.
All Hakanoa products are preservative-free. Our concentrates must be refrigerated after opening and used within 3 months.

There are a lot of cafes that serve our Chai but don’t necessarily stock our ginger beers as well. To make it easy, we’ve created a category so you can see just the ones that have ginger beer.
You can always ask your local to get our ginger beers in, if they serve our Chai they’re bound to be good people
