Carefully blended using organic fair trade raw sugar, natural vanillas from Tonga and Tahiti bring fragrant richness, deepened with caramelised sugar and a tiny dash of sea salt. The flavour is warm and aromatic, and marries beautifully with café latte.

Our concentrates & syrups are made here in Auckland. We work with Aromatics in Takanini, using recipes developed originally in Hakanoa Street in Grey Lynn.
All Hakanoa products are pasteurised and safe to be stored at room temperature unopened. Syrups can be stored for 3 years and gingers beers for 2 years before their flavours start to fade. Best in a dark cool cupboard if you have one.
All Hakanoa products are preservative-free. Our concentrates must be refrigerated after opening and used within 3 months.

There are a lot of cafes that serve our Chai but don’t necessarily stock our ginger beers as well. To make it easy, we’ve created a category so you can see just the ones that have ginger beer.
You can always ask your local to get our ginger beers in, if they serve our Chai they’re bound to be good people
